If you wish to become a Hawk Parent consider this……

I know what your child’s coaches have said. He’s good. He’s not so good. Stick with it. I know what’s in your heart, if only he could….

I’m telling you with Hawk, I could make him an incredible baller. Period. It really doesn’t matter the sport. Basketball. He shoots with his eyes closed in my drills. Football? He’ll catch with his eyes closed.

You name the sport. I can make him a star. But stardom ain’t what you want, if its being a pro you want for him.

And let me stop right now. If you don’t want him to be a professional athlete, then you don’t need me. Please read that sentence again, because once you decide you need me and you allow your child to work with me they will always want to work with me.

No one will ever be a better coach at the fundamentals of any sport. Period. And your child will tell you. You will see it in their athletic accomplishments as they grow in their chosen sport. They will clearly be better than their team mates and peers almost instantly….

But you don’t need me, if you don’t want your child to be a professional, but if you do…And I know this will be hard to take….If you do need me, then please get out of my way.

I know it looks easy and I know that you think you know what’s best for your child, but you can not teach this system and you do not know the difficulties your child will face in performing. And you certainly do not understand the myriad of choices he must make in order to navigate the path to just the opportunity to get in the billion dollar entertainment sports industry.

I do.

Hawk is more than just a system. There is nothing comparable to it in the western world and the ancient dojo or martial art school is the closest. I am a sensei or Sesh in the ancient model and iIt is my job to help my student to understand where his best opportunities lie to move forward toward living their dream using the unique talents Hawk will imbue them with. I take that seriously and will not fail.

It is a parent’s job to raise their child. I will not do that. It looks easy but I know better. So I will never intrude upon that and will do my best to help you under your guidance as you instruct me to do as much as I can for you in that regard.

That said allow your child to grow in my school and they will learn the fundamentals of professional athleticism and taking care of their body as well as how to nourish their dream through positive visualization. Most importantly they will learn about the right decision making so that every decision they make is in line with becoming a professional including associations among friends, character assessment and schools to attend so that their gifts are displayed ultimately.

In sum I will not interfere with your job, you will not interfere with mine, if you want Hawk to make your child a professional athlete. I don't care where you balled or how you did in what school or what team. You did not do it in today's environment and you did not do it using Hawk.

And we will both watch your child succeed, if we work together understanding our roles.

However if you believe you know what you’re doing and don’t you will watch your  child fail to get a  scholarship, fail to move on to the next level. And the odds are I will have been there telling you this was the absolute wrong decision and removed my self from the family’s quest. I’ve been there and done it before. It is such a shame to see a young person fail because of the failings of strong willed misguided adults that I have been prompted to write this letter. And make no mistake, in today’s incredibly competitive scholastic sports environment, it is difficult to say the least to fix any mistake in the quest for a scholarship after it’s been done. So let us agree before we start this journey that you do not understand the road to professional athletics and I do. If that is our starting position, then our end has great promise.
